Another steam-punkish sci-fi book. Strangely mirrors the plot of Great Expectations.
I’m about half-way through and still nothing has actually happened yet, even so I find it fairly interesting –
not sure why that is exactly. Maybe simply because the world is so normal…. it reminds almost of the Barque cycle — just without the science, yet with the occasional hint of magic.
